MEGHAN'S MANTRAS
Advice by which I strive to live by and that I practice in any workout.

Always listen to your body
As a coach, of course I'm here to motivate and challenge you... but at the end of the day, your body is YOURS alone, and listening to your body to perform the workout SAFE and properly is more important than listening to any fitness coach. If you're not feeling a move, or a workout, don't do it!

Don't knock bodyweight until you've tried (and perfected!) it
Many people assume that adding dumbbells or resistance bands to a workout automatically makes the workout "better" or harder. But a LOT of our daily movement is bodyweight only, and you can easily strengthen many of the most important muscles in your body (your 360-degree core.... think back and belly) with no added weight.

Define fitness by how strong you FEEL, not by how you look
Many people have been conditioned to have poor self-images when it comes to our physical fitness. Having ripped abs and zero excess fat is NOT the only way to be "fit" - and to be honest, the person that you need to convince the most is yourself. I'm here to remind you that your best fitness goal is to feel stronger in your every day life, regardless as to how many abs you can count in the mirror.
